You can’t help who you love. We believe love and romance is for everyone regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, or sexuality.
What is it about romance that makes it timeless and something that all humans are subject to throughout their lives?
What draws us to someone? Is it that look, that smile, that laugh, the way they speak, the tone of their voice, or, as our parents used to call it, the cut of their jib? Whatever and wherever, it is an intrinsic feeling that tells you, this person might get me, that we might enjoy experiencing each other during the rest of our time on this Earth.
It is our need not to be lonely, to share our joy and laughter with the one who gets us.

Douglas Quinn is the author of over 70 books, primarily in the mystery and suspense and historical fiction genres. Quinn also is the author of 30 children’s books and writes science fiction and fantasy under the pen name, Elrod Stanton. He says, “I love the whole concept of love and romance and Donna and I love to travel, so it’s about time we put the two of those interests together and share them with everyone in these Love in the City Stories of romance and finding the one you love.”
Donna Higgins is the wife of Douglas Quinn. She is a professional artist, a retired art educator, and the author of Life on a Swing. She and her husband have three children (twins plus one) and three cats named Q-Tip, Schweetie and Peanut.
